How does Pé de Meia payment work?
CAIXA Federal is the official responsible for opening the account, so the savings account where you will receive monthly amounts is managed by CAIXA itself, in partnership with the Ministry of Education.

The main goal of the benefit is to encourage studies and high school completion. Many teenagers end up dropping out of school because of financial difficulties. The aid amount is designed to prevent these young people from leaving school for informal work, allowing them to continue studying without facing major financial hardships during this journey. The benefit also seeks to encourage ENEM registration, and for this reason the program pays an additional amount to those who complete their registration.
- Who can participate in Pé de Meia?
The benefits of the Pé-de-Meia Program are aimed directly at low-income students enrolled in high school at public schools. Additionally, you must meet some other requirements to be able to enroll. Check the list of program requirements:
- Have a CPF (Individual Taxpayer Registry);
- Be between 14 and 24 years old, and be regularly enrolled in high school
- Study at public schools
- Participate in mandatory exams;
- Be a student with family members registered in CadÚnico (Unified Registry for Federal Government Social Programs);
- Maintain 80% school attendance;
- Complete the school year and be approved;
- It is not necessary for the student to be registered in CadÚnico; it is enough for the student to be part of families that receive Program benefits. Bolsa Família benefits will have priority in the order of preference for granting incentives.
It is important to note that the Ministry of Education will publish through an official notice the list of criteria and necessary updates to participate in this program.

E a melhor parte é que basta você ter um CPF, e estar matriculado na escola até abril do respectivo ano para começar a receber os valores!
E caso sua família esteja matriculada no Programa Bolsa Família será ainda mais simples, confira os requisitos do MEC e venha participar do Programa que está ajudando milhares de estudantes, a CAIXA Federal abrirá uma conta digital para depositar o benefício durante o período elegível para o recebimento. Você poderá acessar os valores através do aplicativo CAIXA Tem.
No caso dos estudantes com menos de 18 anos, será necessário a participação do Responsável Legal para autorizar a movimentação do dinheiro no Aplicativo CAIXA Tem, através da configuração “Programa Pé-de-Meia” e a opção – “Permitir acesso a um menor”. O procedimento também pode ser realizado diretamente em uma agência da CAIXA caso deseje ter um atendimento pessoal.
