And it will total an amount of R$ 1,800.00 (one thousand and eight hundred reais) for each year, adding the 9 installments of R$ 200 each. The year 2024 will be the only one that will pay in 8 installments instead of 9, but from 2025 onwards it will follow the schedule of nine annual payments. 

For each year of secondary school you complete, you will be entitled to receive an additional payment of R$ 1,000.00 (one thousand reais). It will be deposited annually after the approval of each academic year of high school that is completed. During the three years of high school you will receive a total amount of R$3,000.00 (three thousand reais). It is worth mentioning that the amount paid for the Completion Incentive is retained and can only be released after the completion of the three years of high school. IN (high school).

Finally, we have the incentive for all students who register for the ENEM exam. An additional amount of R$ will be paid. 200.00 (two hundred reais) in a single installment for those who take the national high school exam.

Adding up the monthly installments, annual completions, enrollments and additional ENEM, the total amount that can be received for the three years of high school will be R$$ 9,200 for each student enrolled in the benefit. This is a considerable amount, totaling almost ten thousand reais. For those facing financial difficulties, it will certainly be a great relief for family savings, in addition to enabling a structural improvement and a great incentive for students to complete their studies.

Once you are approved for the benefit, you will receive payments according to the official calendar. As for the monthly payments of (200 reais each), you can use them as soon as you receive them. The same goes for the tuition and ENEM benefits. The only amount that will be retained until you complete high school are the 3 annual payments of a single installment per year, which are (1000 reais each).

In other words, of the total amount of R$9,200 that you can receive over the 3 years, there will be R$3,000 that will be pending and will only be released after you complete high school. However, most of the amount can still be used during your studies.

Yes, because Pé de Meia is a federal benefit, it is now eligible for all regions of Brazil. In other words, you can receive the high school education benefit regardless of the region you live in.

If you enroll in ENEM, you will be entitled to receive an additional R$200 (two hundred reais) as an incentive to enroll in higher education and complete a college degree. It is worth noting that this additional amount will be paid only once to each student.

Step by step guide to requesting the Sock Money

Follow all steps to complete your benefit request:

First, you must access the Ministry of Education's Integrated Planning, Budget and Finance System. Simec log in using a GOV.BR account

  1. Click on the option Nest Egg Program
  2. Read the information and click “Forward”
  3. Click on the option “Register referral” to be able to define the people responsible for reporting monthly data on students' continued studies to the MEC
  4. Enter your CPF, full name, email, cell phone/telephone number and save the settings. Once done, click on “Forward”
  5. Read all the terms of commitment and click on “Join”
  6. Now that you have completed the registration of the person responsible, the next step is to register the students' data and send all the necessary information to be able to receive the benefit.
