Everything you need to know
The law changed in 2025
The new labor market law has been in effect since June 1, 2025. The old law bon szkoleniowy has been replaced by the new one bon na kształcenie ustawiczne, which no longer has an age limit.
Many older websites still mention a 30-year age limit. That's no longer valid.
Scholarship during the course
Anyone registered as unemployed who attends a course PUP receives the stypendium szkoleniowe. With 150 hours or more per month, it amounts to 120% of unemployment benefits.
With fewer hours, the value is proportional.
Online certificate without paying
At Akademia PARP and [another institution] NAVOICA, the courses and certificate are free. Google offers a digital marketing course in Polish, also with a free certificate.
Google Career Certificates, obtained through Coursera, are paid courses.
How to protect yourself
Always access the official websites (.gov.pl). None of these programs will ask for your bank password.
Be wary of anyone who charges to "guarantee" a spot in a free course.
