The payment schedule for the 2021 emergency aid program continues until September of this year. Caixa (the Brazilian bank) has released the updated payment schedule for the 2021 emergency aid program. The first batch of payments began on April 6th for those registered through the Caixa app/website and in the CadÚnico (Single Registry for Social Programs), and took place at the Bolsa Família program from April 16th to 30th.
The withdrawal of the first batch of funds, originally scheduled for May 4th, was proposed in advance and began on April 30th. Emergency aid payment schedule 2021
According to the president of Caixa, Pedro Guimarães, the withdrawals for the first batch were altered with the release of money for withdrawal at ATMs. "It is expected that this change will be implemented in two weeks.".
We will begin payments on the 30th of this month (April). This means that lottery tickets and ATM withdrawals can be made in May.
Pedro Guimarães said this in a live broadcast with President Jair Bolsonaro.
According to the schedule, the credit to the digital account will begin on April 6th (first installment) and end on August 22nd, when the final payment of the fourth installment will be made.
As in previous years, the interval between the deposit of funds and the release of withdrawals is approximately three weeks.
In the case of the first payment, the credit will now be made between April 6th and 30th, and withdrawals will be made in cash between April 30th and May 17th (i.e., May 4th to June 4th).
In this new phase, payments will be made in 4 installments ranging from R$150 to R$375, depending on the beneficiary's family unit. This time, only one person per family is entitled to the new benefit, and unlike last year, each family provided assistance to a maximum of 2 people.
After discussions between the government's economic team and the Presidents of the Chamber of Deputies and the Federal Senate, it was decided to reimburse the emergency assistance fund of 250 reais in four installments, but this time for a small number of beneficiaries.
Economy Minister Paulo Guedes also stated that he could increase the aid to 600 reais at the request of the 16 governors, but for that to happen, Congress would need to carry out the planned privatizations.
Updates to the 2021 emergency aid program
As announced by the Ministry of Citizenship, more than 40 million people will benefit from the second phase of payments. Those eligible for the new emergency assistance include Bolsa Família beneficiaries registered in the Unified Registry, the unemployed, and informal workers.
For this new payment phase, the federal government will not open a new registration period. Therefore, you will be entitled to four installments that were registered before July 2nd of last year and did not cancel the benefits in December.
The Caixa Econômica Federal will request a new payment plan through Caixa Tem.
Values of the emergency aid in 2021
In Provisional Measure No. 1,039, of March 18, the federal government confirmed the new value of emergency assistance in 2021. According to the beneficiary's family composition, there will be three variable values: Single person (single family) R$ 150,250 rupees, applicable to couples with or without children; Female head of household (single-parent family) R$ 375.
The new installments will continue to be deposited into the digital savings account of the Caixa Tem app, and this payment method will have a different credit and withdrawal schedule than the previous payment.
Payment schedule for Bolsa Família and emergency aid 2021
This year, the emergency assistance payments will cover 10 million beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família program. As with last year's payments, this group will continue to receive benefits based on the program's specific schedule.
However, the new feature this year is that some Bolsa Família participants will be able to obtain emergency assistance through Caixa Tem.
From December to March, Caixa transitioned beneficiaries who did not yet have a bank account to the app, where citizens can transfer funds to digital savings accounts or make withdrawals and transfers.
The first batch of emergency aid was deposited to Bolsa Família beneficiaries between April 16th and 30th. In May, the public will receive the second batch of aid between May 18th and 31st

The Ministry of Citizenship has opened some deadlines for those who were denied emergency assistance. To check if you are eligible this year or if your application was denied, simply access the website - https://consultaauxilio.cidadania.gov.br/consulta/ - and check using Caixa Central de Previdência, your date of birth, and your mother's name.
If the result is negative, the citizen may dispute the data on the Dataprev portal within 10 calendar days of the result being published.
With the resumption of emergency services in the first half of 2021, the disbursement of new family subsidies began in the second half of April.
The payment schedule follows the plan's traditional date, and deposits are made gradually according to the last digit of the NIS number.
Beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família program do not need to register to guarantee the installment payment of emergency assistance in 2021, as family units are already included in the government's database (CadÚnico), which provides important income information.
