How does the Chevrolet Young Apprentice program work?
The Young Apprentice program is a one-year paid internship for recent high school graduates interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.
Selected participants will receive hands-on training at a Chevrolet dealership as well as classroom instruction at a local community college.
Upon successful completion of the program, apprentices will be placed in full-time positions at the sponsoring dealership.

Once you find a participating dealership, the next step is to fill out an application form and submit it to the dealer.
If you are selected for the program, you will be placed with a mentor at the dealership who will help teach you how to work in the service department of a Chevrolet dealership.
You'll learn everything from customer service and vehicle maintenance to parts ordering and diagnostics.
At the end of the program, you will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible for entry-level positions at Chevrolet dealerships nationwide.
If you’ve graduated from high school or have a GED, you can apply to be an apprentice at Chevrolet. There are three ways to do this:
1. Find an internship through the Chevrolet Apprenticeship Program Job Board.
2. Contact a Chevrolet dealer in your area to learn more about apprenticeship opportunities.
3. Fill out an application online on the website of the Chevrolet Apprenticeship Program.
