Brazil Aid and Bolsa Família: Understand the differences and the transition
During the previous administration, a social benefit called Auxílio Brasil (Brazil Aid) , and now many are confused about the differences between this program and Bolsa Família (Family Allowance ).
But the truth is, the answer is simpler than it seems.
Although the Auxílio Brasil program had a higher value than the old Bolsa Família program, with the new update, both programs now have exactly the same amount of financial aid. After all, today they are the same program, because with the return of the Workers' Party government, Auxílio Brasil changed its name and reverted to Bolsa Família. This means that those who received Auxílio Brasil continue to receive the same benefit, but now under the name "Bolsa Família".
And as for those who do not yet receive any benefits, they can apply for "Bolsa Família," which, thanks to the most recent updates, has a benefit that is just as good as the old "Auxílio Brasil.".
Bolsa Família: Additional amount for children
One of the benefits of the program is that it provides additional support to families with children aged 0 to 36 months. In other words, there will be additional financial assistance to help with development during the first years of life.
Furthermore, the benefit is subject to periodic adjustments in accordance with constant reviews and eligibility criteria. This ensures the proper adaptation of the social program, meeting the needs of the most vulnerable population.
There is also a benefit aimed at promoting sports among children and adolescents, resulting in special financial assistance for the purchase of sports equipment and helping to improve access to sports-related training.
