Auxílio Brasil and Bolsa Família: Understand the differences and the transition
During the previous Government, a social benefit called Brazil Aid, and now many are in doubt regarding the differences between this program and the Family Allowance.
But the truth is that the answer is simpler than it appears.
Although Auxilio Brasil had a higher value than the old Bolsa Família, with the new update, the two programs now have exactly the same financial aid value. After all, today they are both the same program, because with the return of the Workers' Party Government, Auxílio Brasil changed its name and went back to being called Bolsa Família. This means that those who received Auxílio Brasil continue to receive the same benefit, but now with the name ''Bolsa Fámilia''.
And as for those who still do not receive any of the benefits, they can apply for the ''Bolsa Família'', which thanks to the most recent updates, has a benefit as good as the old ''Auxílio Brasil''.
Bolsa Família: Additional amount for children

In addition, the benefit is subject to periodic adjustments in accordance with ongoing reviews and eligibility criteria. This will ensure that the social program is properly adapted to meet the needs of the most vulnerable population.
There is also a benefit aimed at sports practice among children and adolescents, resulting in special financial assistance for the purchase of sports equipment and helping accessibility to training related to sports practice.
